Bereavement Meal Ministry

The bereavement meal ministry serves a meal in Neglia Hall to the family and friends of a loved one, following their funeral. We prepare food, set up, serve and clean-up and we welcome parishioners who would like to do any of those things. A bereavement meal can be a comfort to families who are mourning the loss of a loved one.

If you work, you can drop off food on your way to work. If you are retired, you can help set up and/or clean up. There is a job for everyone in this ministry.

Each meal requires about three hours. We have very little notice, so flexibility is a must.
